BenHeart A non profit organisation helping the poor in Indonesia
The Ben Heart Foundation is a Dutch non profit organisation that supports the poor and homeless around the Islands of Indonesia.
WHAT THEY NEEDED
Full redesign and migration from frontpage to WordPress.
The team from the Ben Heart charity were looking to grow their presence online. They had an old website using Front Page which needed to be migrated to a whole new WordPress.Â
On top of this they also needed to show and link to the organisations that sponsor the Ben Heart, integration to a new online donation page, a whole new blog environment and a more manageable way to showcase the many projects the Ben Heart are involved in.

Site redesign
The old site lacked the modern design and navigation. I fully designed it from the bottom up.
WordPress Site
BenHeart is quite a big site with many portfolio pages. The team now have an easy way to upload new projects.
Donation page
Working together with geef.nl, we setup an online donation page that is integrated to BenHeart. Easy, fast and safe!
Communications
The members of BenHeart were all using personal email addresses. I setup their own domain accounts.
Hosting
This site is fully hosted with our partner Namecheap who also provide full email integration and daily back up's.

In all fairness this website took a lot longer to build than I had expected. Not only was the migration from the old environment to the new a bigger task, taking the leading members of the charity on the digital transformation was quite a task. With that said, this is an amazing charity that helps the poorest people in an already poor country of the world. This new website will help them communicate their message easier and hopefully raise more money for future projects.
