Rugby Club Eilanders A local Dutch rugby club in desperate need of a redesign.
I am passionate about rugby and so when the opportunity came along to redesign the website for the EFRC Eilanders in Holland, I could not resist it.
WHAT THEY NEEDED
Website redesign. Move to a new host.
EFRC Eilanders approached me in early 2020 due to a number of issues they experienced with their website. The biggest challenge was a lack of brand design and more importantly no security leaving them vulnerable against malware.
I engaged with the team and moved them over to hosting partner Namecheap. From their we set about redesigning the website to be more informative on what the club is about, the sponsors behind it and the games / league they were active in.

Website redesign
The old website lacked any creative design. I started fresh with a simple but powerful design that shows off the team
WordPress Site
CollectIC is quite a big site with many product pages and a complete blog section. From start to finish - 3 weeks.
Enhanced Security
Security that protected against malicious redirects, viruses, malware, infections, security-threats, trojans, backdoors.
Blog environment
We needed to create an easy way in which the coaching team could write blogs and post them. Easy with WP 🙂
e-Commerce
The club has a few products it wanted to sell online. Easy with WP and the WooCommerce plugin 🙂
Hosting
This site is fully hosted with our partner Namecheap who also provide full email integration and daily back up's.

I really enjoyed building this site as one of my passions is rugby. Despite being an amateur team, this is a brilliant little club that is trying to bring rugby to a country known for its passion in football and hockey.
